The new 16:9 format (33.867x19.05cm/ 13.33x7.5") in PowerPoint is the default size that PowerPoint uses when you create a new blank presentation.
You may need to scale up slides that you copy from old presentations.
The 4:3 format has remained unchanged in size at 28x21cm / 11.024x8.27" and is therefore ideal for use on Apple iPads and for printing on DIN A4.
